Apparently, attention is all you need.

This is fortunate because attention is all you have.

It's ironic that a technical manifestation of "attention" in the form of a "transformer" approach to a "neural network" is what brings about a darn decent approximation of general intelligence. At the same time, it is the struggle to control genuine attention in organic neural networks that most endangers the capacity for sustained intelligence in contemporary humans.

You need more than mere attention. You need experience. You need information. You need experimentation. You need feedback. You need time.

And you need attention.

You need focus.

You need.

You have.

You.

Be.

Experience.

Just, experience.

Don't let the present go by un-experienced.
